In 2006 we asked Todd to help us decorate our Busch Stadium broadcast booth with unique fine art photographs. The project turned out great. We met and discussed the concept of unique views of the stadium and the FSN Midwest gameday experience. Todd captured hundreds of photos for us to work with and his digital "after effects" provided the perfect finishing touches to enhance the final prints. The group of framed prints worked together perfectly. They still hang in our Broadcast booth and we decided to get another set for our luxury suite. Thank you Todd.

When I first saw how Todd Shaak tells powerful stories with his photography, I knew he was the right photographer for the "Where in Logan County Gallery" at the brand new Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Todd was assigned to travel throughout the county capturing precious details that most of us would overlook, but yet are unique to our community's cultural and historic fabric. Not only were the images technically amazing, but his selection of subjects was spot on with very little coaching. Todd's work stands out in a sea of wanna-be digital photographers. I first met Todd Shaak and admired his "Beautifully Decayed" work at Quincy's Midsummer Arts Faire. Because my employer, Farlow Realty, was in the process of designing and moving into a new office suite, I asked Todd to take photos of architectural details in Quincy to adorn our walls. As a custom frame shop and fine art gallery, we do a lot of commercial work. Todd's work brings such an emotive response from the clients who see it. We have sold a lot of his product to the residential consumer, but I have also placed a good deal of his work in commercial environments. He takes extreme care to produce images that are not only intriguing and well constructed, but truly amazing, in that he does not rely on technological enhancements to sell the product.

Todd's talents run deep. We have used his services on several occasions and will continue to call on Todd. When we asked Todd to design our restaurant's logo, he suggested we update our menu with it. Todd re-designed our menu to coincide with our remodeling. In addition to the menus & logos, his range of photography has helped us decorate our restaurant. His fine art photographs not only add to the appearance of our restaurant, his photographs make a connection to our customers.

I have called upon Todd several times for different projects. His ability as a graphic artist — he created our corporate logos. When we decided to update our menus, not only did he design our menu, he did the photography of our dishes for that menu. Some time ago, I asked Todd to furnish us with 50 or so fine art photographs of our local area to decorate our Volkswagen dealership. What a great addition his photographs made to our facility! The addition of these pictures really connected our store to the community that makes up our customer base. Since then, we have purchased other dealerships, and we have used Todd to provide those facilities with images from the community as well. The effect that Todd's photographs add to our environment really seems to deepen the connection of our customer relationships. Todd's ability as a photographer and his vision stands out above the rest.

Just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how very much I enjoy your work. I went to the Midsummer Art Faire in Quincy Illinois on Saturday. Your booth was by far my favorite. Your photos speak to me. They are things I see but unfortunately no matter how hard I try they don't look the same when I take the picture (LOL) When I get a good picture (that I really like) I always say it was an accident. I do get some that are not too bad, considering I am not a pro and I only have a little Kodak Easyshare Z650 6.1 megapixels. There is a little shed I see quite often and I never think to take my camera with me when I am heading in that direction, this little shed is majorly leaning and almost touching the ground but yet something is still holding it all together and up! I must get a photo before it is too late! I enjoy taking my camera and wandering around to see what I may find. I loved your photos, they touched my heart, brought a smile to my face. Thank you. I also enjoyed bantering with you as you told us about your pictures. Thanks. The past year has been rather hard for me and I have learned to really appreciate the little things in life. I am adding your site to my favs so I can look back often. Unfortunately, I am currently unemployed (as of August) (and have started back to school) and even though I loved your work I cannot spend money for something like that right now.
